Author: Mada B.

Autumn leaves don't fall, they fly. They take their time and wander on this their only chance to soar.”

THE INHERITENCE (1997)

This MOVIE is a must watch this autumn cuz has so many beautiful fall scenary, the golden leaves and other elements that reminds us of this majestic period of the year. Plus is based on the book with the same name by Louisa May Alcott.

The Inheritance tells of an innocent young woman's struggle to make sense of her position within the Hamilton household and in society, and the love she feels for her patrons, as well as for a young man she can never marry.

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (2005)

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favourite movie to watch in autumn. This adaptation in particulary has so many elements that reminds me of fall time and it has a way to put you in that autumn ``stare,, if you know what I mean 😊 and is a good time to read the book as well.

Belle (2013)

Oh, this movie, touch my heart every time I rewatch it. Is such a lovely and inspirational story of a young girl who was born in the West Indies . The film centres on Dido Belle's relationship with an aspiring lawyer.

Emma (2020)

Ah, this movie...is one of the best Emma adaptation ever made. Personally I prefer this adaptation more cuz the performances are excellent, each actor bringing depth and shading to their characters, especially Taylor-Joy who portrait Emma so well, the best version so far.

Becoming Jane (2007)

"Becoming Jane" is a movie every Jane Austen fan must see. The movie tell the story of the most beloved Jane Austen and her becoming a novelist. The action centers on a passionate romance between Jane and a handsome young lawyer named Tom Lefroy portrait by the charming James McAvoy.

Rose Hill (1997)

This movie I recently discovered and quickly become one of my favourite movie. It is based on Julie Garwood's 1995 novel For the Roses but I must to that. The story is about four orphans who adopt a young infant that they discovered in a wagon when they made their escape from the police. They named the girl Mary Rose. As they grow up together, the five eventually settle in Blue Belle, in Montana. In Blue Belle, Mary Rose and her four brothers (Adam, Cole, Douglas, and Travis) have a free-range cattle farm by the name of Rose Hill near a lake. There, Mary Rose grows up and longs to find her real family, as well as learn about her true identity.

A river runs through it (1992)

The movie is based was first told in a book published by Norman Maclean, after he retired as a professor of English at the University of Chicago. The movie stars Craig Sheffer as Norman, the older son, more serious and Brad Pitt the younger brother, Paul,a free spirit man who drinks too much and gets in card games, and wants nothing more than to stay in Montana all of his life, working for a newspaper. The movie was shot on such beautiful locations. You must see it or if you already did you might rewatch it this autumn.
