Recently I read the book Little men by Louisa May Alcott , so of course I had watched the movie, read the sequel, and then watched the television show. I absolutely love the show! It is without a doubt one of my favorite shows of all time. I was extremely disappointed that the show was cancelled as it was such a good, family-oriented program.

My only problem with it was that it didn't follow the book. But I decided to give it a try and ignored the book. I can understand why the writers chose to make such drastic changes to the novel. They obviously wanted the show to have some kind of individuality, and it does. The show is full of values, morals, and lessons all things that we can apply to our modern daily lives. One of the lessons referres to the meaning of family and love, as well as the strength of integrity, courage, and faith. In my opinion Nat and Dan are exactly how I imagined reading the book. Also Britt Irvin who played Nan did such a wonderful work cuz she is so close to Naughty Nan personallity. Even Nick Railey who is not in the book does the personality justice and seems to fit right into the show theme.
I found the series wonderful! It was clean cut and something that everyone could enjoy, just the right amount comedy to keep everyone going through this difficult times.

As a conclusion I think is a delightful series worthy of Louisa May Alcott. It is truly enjoyable! Clean and wonderful! And I hardly recommend to watch it on this time of year.
